Schedule 1 update 5 patch notes
Tweaks/Improvements
- Added an active display setting to choose which monitor the game displays on.
- Botanists will now automatically move product from their supplies to drying racks.
- Owned vehicles are now visible on the map app.
- Implemented a few validity checks/failsafes for NPC pathfinding and warping. I think this was one of the primary causes of crashing on certain chipsets (thanks to Chi Chi on Discord for bringing this to my attention).
- Refactored employee item movement behavior to be a bit smarter.
- Implemented NPC effects culling at a certain distance to improve performance.
Bug fixes
- Fixed non-host clients sometimes not being able to hit/stand in blackjack.
- Fixed a quest UI bug that was sometimes causing infinite loading screens in multiplayer.
- Fixed clipboard selections not reassigning without first manually clearing the existing selection (employee beds, botanist supplies, etc).
- Fixed the dealer sometimes preemptively revealing its hand to non-host players in blackjack.
- Fixed first-person jacket looking janky.
- Fixed ‘Master Chef’ achievement being rewarded prematurely.
- Fixed some property null references that were causing multiplayer loading/desync issues.
- The drying rack ‘dry’ button is now non-interactable if the input slot is reserved by an employee.
- Fixed NPC ‘stay in building’ behavior sometimes causing errors for non-host players.
- Fixed NPC voiceover emitters sometimes throwing a null reference.
Now lets move on to the future planned stuff…
Schedule 1 New Drug Types
In the near future there are going to be new drugs added into the game, drugs like MDMA, Shrooms, Heroin. They also plan on added different forms of the current drugs like meth, weed and cocaine.
Property Decorations
They are adding new ways to decorate your properties, things like wallpapers, lighting and outside paint.
Map expansions
The city of Hyland Point is set to expand by having a ghetto area in the south-west and a gated community in the north-east. More properties might also be available to buy.
Movement
They are adding vaulting to the game and the ability to climb over fences etc to make moving around the map more fun.
Cartel
With the introduction of cartel members that will be there to butt in on your sales, ambush you, or even attack your properties you will need to be prepared for action. You will also be able to steal supplies from the cartel, this will add more excitement to your drug game.
Fishing and weather
At some point in the future they will be adding a fishing minigame, while fishing you could end up reeling in items like gold bars or bricks of cocaine. Weather is also being added to the game, with clear skies, overcast, rain, and even lightning storms.
